The newly restored Bürgenstock resort complex above Lake Lucerne includes hotels, a conference facility, luxury residences, sports and wellness parks, and tourist attractions. Appear proposed a hierarchy of routes and a wayfinding system to link the diverse facilities of this extensive site and foster a more unified guest experience.
Brass was chosen for its historical associations and its ability to harmonize with diverse building materials and architectural styles as the unifying theme throughout the site. Freestanding, illuminated panels ensure easy wayfinding at all times of day, and in all weather conditions. Custom pictograms indicate tourist attractions.
