Commissioned by the Department of Building, Traffic and Environment in the canton of Aargau, (K)Reise durch den Aargau showcases the monumental, occasionally abstruse, or even mystical looking objects that appear on the canton’s 149 roundabouts.
Inspired by travel guides, the 160-page book reveals the stories behind the works of art and includes their coordinates, materials, dimensions, and nicknames. Appear combined stories of selected roundabouts with existing documentary photos and not-so-serious infographics to create a catalogue of roundabouts, designed to appeal to residents and infrastructure enthusiasts alike.
