Built on the site of one of Switzerland’s oldest spinning mills, Kunz Areal “Spinnerkönig” includes converted industrial lofts and new apartment blocks. The design of the wayfinding system was inspired by the mill’s rich history.
Playfully highlighted walkways, crossings and distinctive lighting in the large underground garage encourage pedestrians to feel relaxed and confident. Exits are easy to recognize from a distance. Large-scale decorative lettering inspired by early 20th century wall advertising indicates floor locations.
